Surrogates review
Well, it’s that time of year again. My favorite. I just love fall and Halloween. I’m all stocked up and ready with all kinds of chocolate candy, the ghouls are hanging from the columns, the pumpkins and mums are out, the Halloween lights are up, the skeletons are digging their way out of their graves in the front yard. Bring on the Trick or Treaters…lol.
As for writing, I’ve returned to my favorite serial killer villian in my next Menage/Romantic Suspense, entitled Dead Wreckening. I’m about halfway through that one so it won’t be long…:) I’m also almost finished with the next book in the Entwined Fates series, Slaves. In this enstallment, our hero finally tackles the slave trade.
Then next on the agenda is another menage/romantic suspense entitled Fright Factory, which is actually a combination of a weird dream I had the other night as well as a show I saw on the travel channel showcasing the country’s scariest Halloween haunts. It’s a story I hope to release around Halloween 2010.
I hope everyone has a great weekend.
Happy Haunting…:)

Surrogates review
This story is touching and sensual, I was gripped by Bethany emotional journey of healing. While Trista Ann Michaels writes highly erotic scenes that are scorching, this author also manages to find the true nature behind her characters which brought the story real depth. This was a wonderful read and one I will not forget!

Looks as though the RITA is finally open to those of us not under the New York umbrella. Full rules are posted here for those interested. www.rwanational.org.
Personally, I’m still waiting for the other shoe to drop. You know it will and it will hit the floor with a loud, resounding boom.
I wish all the epub authors who enter the best of luck. I think I’ll hold onto my money.

The Romance Studio
You can count on author Trista Ann Michaels to craft a sensual, emotional, and poignant love story with tinges of suspense and chills. This author is a master at creating vividly detailed pictures that allows readers to escape between the pages of her books time and time again. From the very first page of this book, Ms. Michaels draws the reader in and then blasts them directly into this riveting tale making it impossible to put down. Shutter is filled with unforgettable characters, simmering passion, and gripping tension, mixed together the result is one powerful and delightful story. Every character was richly portrayed – even the secondary ones seemed to have full personalities that seemed to enhance the story. Readers will marvel at Bethany’s backbone as she struggles for not only her future, but also for the past that has the ability to hurt not only her but the ones that she loves.
Derrick and Nathan are two friends different in many ways but united in their ability to be strong and protect the one woman who is the center of their universe. The connection between Bethany, Derrick, and Nathan was not only deeply evident but the jealousy struggles were a realistic touch to the relationship. The chemistry between the characters sizzled and the scenes of intimacy whether they were M/F or M/F/M where pulsing with a sensuality and heat that was spellbinding. There is just the right amount of danger and suspense that adds a compelling edge to the romantic plot without making it too dark.
Once again Trista Ann Michaels delivers another winner!

Shutter is one fantastic suspense story. It’s also one very hot romance, with two hot hunks and one very strong and determined woman. The slow awakening of desire in Beth is well written and intense. Her confusion at how she can feel such attraction to both men makes her worry that the terrible things her stepfather called her might be true. The realization that she is stronger than that gives her the courage to go for it all, and I love how she finally just jumps in with her eyes wide open. When her stepfather gets early release, that just ramps up the tension even more.
Trista Ann Michaels has put several twists in this one that I didn’t see coming, and I love that in a book. The heat level is better than a sauna. There are several extremely hot ménage scenes, and I couldn’t put this one down once I started. If you like suspense mixed with steamy hot ménage action, Shutter is the book for you.

I take my camera with me pretty much every where I go. Which anyone from RT could probably attest to…lol.
I love taking pictures and I’ve gotten some pretty good ones over the years. One of my favorite places to take pictures is the zoo. Animals are so much fun and will almost always give you an interesting shot. Here’s some that I took today when the kids and I visited the Memphis Zoo.
Upclose and personal.

The sleepy guard. He’d just woke up from his afternoon nap and decided to pose.
Do we really have to do this now?
