The end of a year brings interest in the next. What will happen? Who will I meet? Will I be happy?

Horoscopes have been around as long as the stars have. I think it’s fun to read them, although most are so vague they could apply to most anyone.

For example, my personality, according to the horoscope. I can either be shy or an extrovert. Actually, that’s probably pretty accurate. If I’m with people I’m familiar with, I’m much more an extrovert…talkative and bound to say something outlandish and totally off the wall. If I’m with people I’m not as familiar with, I tend to be more quiet…feeling things out, reserved and cautious.  I think for the most part, everyone is like that to some degree.

Here’s mine for 2010. If you wish to see your, click here http://www.horoscopes-love.eu/year-horoscopes.php for more 2010 horoscopes.

Aquarius (Jan 20- Feb 18)

An Aquarian has two sides to his or her personality. He or she could be extremely shy, withdrawn, passive and sensitive. He or she could also be extremely dynamic, active and extrovert. Whatever the case, he or she is very attractive, magnetic and pleasing to their friends and colleagues. In spite of two different personalities, a typical Aquarian may be extremely powerful and demanding in his or her ways. Both of them possess a deep sense of conviction to their mind and goals. They also have very strong beliefs in their abilities to achieve the most impossible things in life. Aquarians always demand complete honesty and truth from their friends and colleagues. They can probe a person’s mind to know if the person is telling truth or not. All Aquarians are capable of seeking truth from any adverse situations and they can extract truth from a number of sources available around.

The 2010 Aquarius yearly horoscope is full of unexpected surprise and events. The New Year is very benevolent enough for them to show their skills and abilities. They will also be able to achieve quite a lot of things that were not possible in the previous year. All Aquarians will be in an advantageous position that allows them to work hard towards their career and financial goals. People to people relationship will improve, while the family related issues will not see any major problems.

I hope you have a wonderous and prosperous 2010…:)

I’ve always loved Trista Ann Michaels and her particular brand of ménage story. Shutter is another sexy, suspenseful success she can add to her already extensive list. The tension between Nathan, Derrick and Beth is tangible. Coupled with the anxiety caused by a sadistic stalker and I eagerly flipped pages well into the night.

In Shutter, this threesome spends much more time apart than in Ms. Michaels’ other tales, but somehow it still seemed to work. Rather than being annoyed by it, I was pleased to see the growth that progressed though the tale with these three characters. I did feel like the ending was a little rushed, but with this kind of happily ever after, it’s hard to find much fault.

Last night I took the kids to see Alvin and the Chipunks. It was absolutely adorable. The lead girl chipmunk, Britney, reinded me of Byonce, but I won’t hold that against her…:). It was a great kids movie, even my 15 year old teenage son like it and I even heard him laughing more than once. Of course, he says he only went for the popcorn. I teased him, telling him I knew why he was there. He wanted to see the chipunks too…:) He just snorts and rolls his eyes. He’s a guy’s guy, so I’m shocked he even went…lol.

Tonight I plan on working on Dead Wreckening, cleaning it up and making a few small changes. One of which was to rework the beginning and adding a little more suspense. Gotta keep my readers on the edge of their seats…:)

Barnies Coffee….:)

Most every day around eleven, you can find me somewhere in the house typing on a story and drinking a pot of Barnies coffee. Pumpkin Spice is devine and they have a new flavor called, Spiced Mexican Chocolate that is fabulous. Then there’s always the regulars, Santa’s White Christmas, Caramel Pie, White Chocolate Mocha.

Articles having to do with economics.

One place I visit that seems kind of strange, but he actually has some very informative articles is www.thecomingdepression.blogspot.com Don’t let the title fool you. Yes, he has some gloom and doom stuff on there, but he also links to articles from all over the web, including CNN, MSNBC, WAshington Post, Seeking Alpha, New York Times. I don’t always agree with some of the articles, but they’re interesting, non the less.

Alternative Rock.

You’d think I was too old for this…lol. But I love Nickelback, Breaking Benjamin and Daughtry. But I can never listen to it while writing. I like to turn it up in the car while zipping down the road at 80 mph…but dont’ tell my mom, she worries…lol.

Movies that make you go…what the hell?? The original Saw was one of those movies. I love trying to figure out the whodunit.

And speaking of whodunit, one of my favorite new shows is Castle. I just love Rick Castle. He’s such a card…lol.

Watching the snow fall.

What I would have gived to be in the north this past week. I love heavy snow falls. I know…I’m weird.

The sound of a summer thunderstorm…the kind where the thunder rumbles gently in the distance.

Ruffles potatoe chips. I’m not a sweets kind of girl. I like salty and crispy. Give me Ruffles and you could get almost anything out of me…well, almost anything…:)

now the cleanup begins. Welll, maybe it begins tomorrow…lol. I’m too tired to clean today.

Both kids got ipods for Christmas so most of my day has been spent syncing ipods and setting up itunes. Fun, fun. If I didn’t hate computers, I hate them now. I need a drink…seriously…lol.

Each kid has separate playlists, video lists and what not. If I never see another itunes page, I’ll be a happy camper…lol.

I hope everyone had a great Christmas and received some really killer presents. I think next year for christmas I’m asking for a vacation for one, starting December 26th.

Bahamas anyone? :)

Finally, I’m almost done with this one. I’m very excited about Dead Reckoning. Even though it’s a menage, and a romantic suspense dealing with a serial killer, it’s still a little different. Not only do the heroes have a heroine to win over, but they must also repair their own tattered friendship. Lots of tension…lots of suspense…a little violence…okay, maybe alot. Think…Their One and Only…it’s comparible to that one.

And of course, you can’t forget the sex…:)

I’m hoping everyone likes it as much as I do. I promise to post excerpts soon, so keep your eye out…:)

Hope everyone is having a great week.

Happy reading…:)

I went to see that today with my kids. Special affects were absolutely amazing. If you’re wondering if this movie is okay for kids…

Fighting is more toward the end with very little gore. The majority of the movie is Jake Sulley learning their culture. He falls for the young woman who is teaching him. There’s one kiss, if you can really even call it that. I thought there was quite a bit of swearing for a pg 13 movie, but my kids know just  because you hear it, doesn’t mean you repeat it, so it didn’t concern me too much.

Overall, I think the movie is fine for kids. The scenery is beautiful, the characters charming and the ending…well, very heartwarming. Hint…bring tissue…:)

Riiiight….snort.

My husband fusses and says I have to be the only pilot wife who hates to fly. I really don’t. I actually love to fly. I love being in a plane, the feel of taking off and floating through the air. What I hate, are airports.

My trip always starts with a difficult time at the kiosk. They always want non-rev passengers to check in at the kiosk. But I’m never in it. I try my name, I try my reservation number, it’s never in there, but nontheless, I have to try to prove to the gate agent that I am telling the truth and it just won’t work for me. So, the kiosk won’t pull my information up and the ticket agent sighs and glares at me as though it’s all my fault.

Finally ticket in hand, we head to security and the mile long line. I forget I have to take off my shoes and I stare down at my boots in frustration. They’re so damn hard to get off and on. What amazes me most about security is they never fail to do a bag check on my husband’s flight bag. He’s a pilot for crying out loud. You’d think they’d never seen a pilot’s flight bag before the way they scrutinize everything in it. How many times a day do they see a pilot go through the line? One would think they would get familiar with flight bags and what they contain.

Apparently not.

And lord, don’t get me started on those damn cramped seats…sigh.

The flight itself was nice. The flight attendant was a very sweet older lady who made me laugh several times. My kids were fabulous. I’m so proud, they read their books that we’d bought at the airport bookstore and didn’t once fight.

When we arrived at Memphis, I set my stuff down on a small table at the gate to put my sweater back on and grab my car keys. I had set my book down on the table next to my purse. It was Sherrilyn Kenyon’s Born of Night. I was only 30 pages into it and I left it sitting on that table when I walked away. I didn’t even realize it until I was already out of security. I was so disapointed. The book had started out so well….sigh.

Oh well. Maybe someone I know has it so I can finish it.

I’m home now, all my holiday travel done. I have about three days to get the house in order before the family arrives for the holidays.

I hope everyone has had a great weekend!!

Happy reading…:)
