Hubby and daughter are headed out to do some 4 wheeling and squirrel hunting. Son and I are going to the bookstore, the disney store and the grocery store. Seems kind of backward, doesn’t it? lol
When I get home this afternoon, I’m starting on the home stretch of Darkness Falls. I finally have the ending worked out in my mind!! Yes!! lol.

There is none…lol.
Well, that’s not exactly true. I’m working on a few re-writes and I think I like the story much better now. Once I get those done, which I’m actually almost finished, it’s onto the home stretch. Yay!! lol.
Home stretch is good…:)

A great review for Slaves from Steph at Bookaholic.
4 1/2 stars
Slaves was a sizzling hot story that swept me away into a futuristic world that I did not want to leave! Trista Ann Michaels is one of my favorite authors and this book did not disappoint! Slaves is the latest in Trista Ann Michaels futuristic series called Entertwined Fates but it can be easily read alone (Although familiar characters return to make appearances). The author’s earlier stories in the series have been published under Ellora’s Cave and more recently under Loose ID. But in any settling this series is a MUST have for any futuristic fan. The scenes are super hot but not obligatory. And if you don’t like the ‘heat’ there is plenty of story and it includes: betrayal, corruption, greed, intrigue, and enough family conflict to guarantee an exciting read.
In this story Lin is a renowned scientist and the youngest director of the Galactic Disease Research Center. She is proud of her work saving lives but her father, a powerful senator only sees her position as one that can add to his own prestige. When her friend and writer Keeran asks her to accompany to a seedy part of town to see Keeran’s informant. Lin is reluctant but knows if she doesn’t Keeran will go by herself and Lin’s position as a senator’s daughter provides her with bodyguards who can protect them both. But their visit quickly becomes disasterous as Keeran is double-crossed and snatched into an illicet sex slave trade. Lin is fortunate to escape but haunted by her inability to save Keeran and the death of her bodyguards. Desperate to find her friend Lin asks her father for help but he refuses. Lin is determined to find Keeran despite the cost to her safety. But Lin soon finds herself in serious trouble….
Captain Anthony “Tony” Carrington is a handsome bad boy that Lin has always felt a strong attraction for. Even though she wants him, she doesn’t trust a man with such a disreputable reputation. But what Lin doesn’t know is Tony is secretly working to bring the slave trade down. He is troubled by Lin sudden absence since he has been keeping track of her. But his duty comes first. But when he is suddenly confronted by Lin in ’slave’ garb he feels compelled to protect her but can he hide his identity and save her before it is too late?
This was a surprisingly fast-paced and complex story. From the beginning, all the characters find themselves quickly in danger and fighting to help their loved ones. Trisa Ann Michaels adds tension and steamy scenes that will keep you glued until the story ends. I loved the futursitc setting and the author is able to combine 2 well written love stories in the same novel!
What I love best about this story is how easily I grew to care for the characters. Even though they are in a futuristic setting I found them believable and likeable. If you are looking for a sexy paranormal romance with daring heroines and noble heroes that save the day you will HAVE to read this book!

Title: Divine Intervention
Genre: Romantic Suspense
Length: Short novella
Rating: 5 Diamonds
Heat Level: Erotic
Other: Oral, play toys, anal
Reviewer: Starla Kaye
Date: 6-7-10
If you like suspense and romance, intrigue and hot sex, then you’ll love this story.
Heather Prescott had fallen in love with her former bodyguard when she was a teenager, but the stubborn man just wouldn’t stop seeing her as a child, as his boss’s daughter. She wasn’t sure she’d ever get the chance to change the stubborn man’s mind and make him see her as an adult.
As her bodyguard years ago, Walker Moore had fought his attraction to his young client, and continued fighting them now that she’d grown up. She was still wrong for him, still too young for him, and now his partner’s daughter. But circumstances bring them together again and he struggles harder than ever to fight his feelings for her. Can he keep her safe from someone out to kill her father and her as well? Can he keep his hands off her as he is forced to guard her once more? Or will he finally give in to the love he’s always felt for her?
The story contained a cast of well developed characters with good depth of emotions, strong internal and external conflicts, and more than enough hot sex to warm your heart and your night.

Great review from Steph at Bookaholics Romance Book Club
Trista Ann Michaels’s really knows how to turn on the heat. This story sizzles and satisfied me on all levels! The author builds the tension between the characters in a way that it is a joy to read. Vincent and Jason are a sexy duo which any woman would love. I was captivated by them and found them irresistible! The scenes between the three are sure to keep you hot and bothered. I especially loved the steamy dialogue. The author has the ability to write in a style which flows easily and is extremely creative. I found this a highly entertaining read and enjoyed Stacy’s journey into unexplored sensuality as well as the paranormal. I especially liked how the heroine skillfully handles these sudden changes in her life. The author has created a novel with characters that are passionate and well worth revisiting.
Thanks, Steph…:)

A great review for Entwined Fates Captive from Tawania…
I loved this story, I have always been a fan of futuristic fantasy romances, and this story did not disappoint. Mikayla and Sidious are strong characters and I was completely drawn in. When I finished this book I felt like I had ran a marathon, I was right there with the characters feeling their emotions. The chemistry between Mikayla & Sidious was HOT and burned the pages up. Sidious was the perfect hero, he was noble, compassionate, and sexy. Mikayla was very feisty, headstrong, smart, and very likable. I loved how she struggled with her feelings for Sidious, it was interesting to see her go back & forth with her feelings for him. The world building in this story was very believable, I was transported to a different world while I read this story. The Author left the door wide open for a sequel, Sidious has two brothers Stefan & Taron who are just as fascinating as he is. If you like futuristic romances with lots of steamy sex, then you will absolutely love this book, and I recommend you pick it up.
Thanks, Tawania!!!

I just started work on a new paranormal romantic suspense menage called Darkness Falls. It’s going pretty quick so far.
I also want to say thanks to Anita for the name suggestion. I chose Alana for the heroine. It just seemed to suit her…:)
I’ll keep everyone posted on how it’s going. I’ve also started a male menage, my first foray into gay romance. It will also be a romantic suspense as well as pretty dark. I haven’t come up with a title yet, unfortunately. I have trouble with titles…:(
Hope everyone is doing well. I’m off to Wally World to get the last of the supplies for our family pic nic and crawfish boil tomorrow…:)
